After my reaction on Marco's blog about "being happy with yourself" / having a healthy self-image I came up with an subject as a designer: Is my creative process in line with financial responsability? Five years ago I decided to start my own one-person-designcompany. Not for the money but to get closer to the costumer, talk and deliberate directly, inspire with possibilities instantly and most important: keep energy flowing. Ten years before, I worked for several companies at the creation-department where accountability - the money - plays a central role. And I learned to work with eliminating risks, giving the financially proved solution for cliënts. But after ten years it felt really empty and down. Strange, because I was "making" things, that's the most popular position in the company!
